Photo Essay: Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse crushes Tam in conference matchup

On March 21, The girls’ varsity lacrosse team faced off against Tamalpais (Tam) High School in a high stakes Marin County Athletic League (MCAL) matchup. Coming off a win against San Marin on Tuesday, the Giants had serious momentum and pulled off a 13-4 victory, bringing their MCAL season record to 6-3. The team was able to curb Tam’s offense with strong defense and a great performance from freshman goalie Eva Layton. Offensively, the Giants communicated well and displayed their exceptional coordination and unwavering focus. The team never lost the lead they quickly gained in the first quarter, proving they are a team to watch. On Saturday afternoon, Redwood will play Sacred Heart Prep on the road at 12:00 p.m..
