Photo Essay: Boys’ varsity tennis sweeps Archie Williams in MCAL semifinals

On Wednesday, April 17, the boys’ varsity tennis team dominated their match against Archie Williams in the semi-finals of the Marin County Athletic League (MCAL), winning 7-0. During this match-up, the Giants showcased their young team, playing four freshmen to help secure the win. To start the match off, freshman Julian Zhang came out fierce, winning his match 6-0 in the first set and 6-0 in the second set. Junior Tug Ricordel and Charlie Aspatore led a strong doubles performance. It was an easy win for these two teammates, as they only lost one game in each set. The boys’ team proved why they deserved the number one seed, never losing a single set during the match.
