The boys’ varsity soccer team secured a 3-0 win against San Marin on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

A quarter through the first half, team captain Isaac Perper rushed up the field and successfully hooked in a quick shot.  Almost consecutively, junior Julian Ulrich experienced a near collision with the San Marin goalie, sending the ball triumphantly into the net, ending the first half with a comfortable 2-0 lead.

As the sun set in the second half, senior Teymour Sadrieh spiraled in a final shot. San Marin came close to scoring at the end, but was stopped by the Giants’ tight defense.

The team’s next home game is against San Rafael High School on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
