The boys’ junior varsity soccer team was defeated by Terra Linda with a score of 2-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 21.
Terra Linda scored both goals in the first half within five minutes of each other, leaving the Giants a rough second half trying to take the lead.
Freshman Brendon Wright played a strong defense in the entire first half, keeping the ball away from Terra Linda on both sides of the field.
The first half of the game was cut short by eight minutes due to the lack of light. Additionally, the referees cut off five minutes of the second half in order to end the game earlier.
Sophomore Doysm Kunhardt worked his way around the defense and eventually had a chance to shoot, but overshot the goal.
The JV soccer team’s next game will be on Thursday, Oct. 23 against San Rafael.
