Beneath bright blue skies on Nov. 17, all the fall season athletes gathered at the amphitheater to commemorate their successful seasons. This year, there were six Marin County Athletic League (MCAL) championships which can be credited to the athletes’ countless hours of dedication. Surrounded by the teams’ friends and faculty, the captains of each team delivered heartwarming speeches to the crowd — putting smiles on their teammates’ faces. Dozens of students flooded the amphitheater to watch and take pictures of the athletes. While listening to the speeches, the fall sports teams were rewarded with pizza for all their hard work. Heading into the winter sports season, Redwood hopes to claim as many MCAL titles as possible.
