Grammy nominees Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley perform for Redwood students

Trey Hensley and Rob Ickes play their new song, “Both Ends Of My Rainbow,” with music director John Mattern during seventh period on Monday.

On Monday, Oct. 7, Grammy Award nominated musicians Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley visited the music department and performed for students.

The Nashville-based duo was in town to play at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival in San Francisco on Saturday, Oct. 5. Their latest album, “World Full of Blues,” was released on Friday, Oct. 4.
