Junior Lucy Jeffers (8), who is committed to Cornell, prepares for the face-off against a rival Marin Catholic competitor.
On April 15, girls’ varsity lacrosse went head-to-head with Marin Catholic in an intense rivalry matchup. In the first half, the lead went back and forth between the two teams, with Redwood losing 3-4 going into the half. Sophomore Claire Johnson contributed four goals, but many players on both offense and defense contributed to this win. In the end, the Giants were able to pull away with an 8-5 win. The girls will play next on Thursday, April 18, at home against San Rafael.
