Boys’ varsity basketball defeats Novato

Boys+varsity+basketball+defeats+Novato+

On Jan. 18, the boys’ varsity basketball team pulled out a hard-fought 70-66 victory over Novato High School to pull out of their five game losing streak.

Redwood took an early led during the first quarter and was up 20-17. In the second quarter Redwood continued to led, but by the fourth quarter Novato pulled ahead to make the score 58-54. Redwood pushed forward and won the game with a score of 70-66.

The Giants’s next game will be at Redwood on Tuesday, Jan. 22, against Branson.
