On Tuesday night the varsity girls’ basketball team lost 36-32 against Ukiah at home.

The Giants took an early lead in the first quarter by a score 11-1. By the end of the second quarter, Ukiah wasn’t too far ahead from taking the lead with a score of 14-13.

During the second half the lead changed many times. Ukiah went ahead by two points in the final minute and never looked back on their way to a victory.

The varsity basketball team next faces Cardinal Newman on Friday, Nov. 7.
