Varsity volleyball loses to Branson in MCAL final

The varsity volleyball was soundly defeated by defending MCAL champions Branson last Friday night in Kentfield.

Junior Sierra Dawson (10) sets the ball in the direction of Lauren Smith (4).

The Giants were defeated in straight sets, 25-21, 25-19, and 25-16 in the MCAL championship game against the Bulls.

Although the Giants came out energized in the early stages of the three games, Branson quickly responded to their pressure, pulling away from Redwood  in each of the three games.
