The girls’ varsity basketball team’s MCAL season ended last night after they were defeated by Justin Siena in the MCAL semi-finals with a score of 43-30.

Although the teams were tied 11-11 at the end of the first quarter, Redwood fell behind by the second quarter. At the half, the Giants were trailing by four points.

The Giants fought aggressively and kept themselves in the game, but failed to close the gap on the scoreboard.

The team had a 12-14 overall season record and a 8-6 league record.

The team has decided not to enter a bid in the NCS tournament and therefore their season is over.
