Girls+varsity+lacrosse+defeats+Tam

In a dominant performance, the girls’ varsity lacrosse team triumphantly defeated Tam during last Thursday’s matchup at Redwood.

With an 18-3 victory, the Giants controlled the game from start to finish due in part to their solid defense and consistent scoring threat.

Redwood entered halftime leading 9-1, and continued their success by matching with another nine goals.

Senior Ariella Rosenthal and sophomore Hayden Dean each had four goals and one assist.  Emma Mulvey, sophomore, had four assists and two goals.  Rosalie Broderson and Alexandra Nicolopoulos each contributed with two goals, to go along with goals from Ally Lawton, Julia Schnoll, Natalie Breuner, and Bella Kashefi.

The Giants play next at home against California High School tomorrow.
