Turkey Bowl postponed to spring

Turkey Bowl postponed to spring

The Turkey Bowl has been postponed to second semester because of weather conditions that left the South Lawn too muddy to play on.

The football game between the staff and students was scheduled originally last week on Wednesday and Thursday. The rain earlier in the week caused the South Lawn to be wet and slippery and the Leadership group running it decided to postpone it.

“We thought about moving the games to the turf, but we were afraid people wouldn’t show up,” said Rachael Maier, one of the Leadership students in charge of the Turkey Bowl. Maier also noted they are not sure what to call it when the game is played in the spring.
