Led by their new coach, Gabe Zieff, the boys were able to go into halftime with four goals. They scored two more in the second half to ice the win. Senior Sasha Boussina scored four of the team’s goals, with Peter Mascheroni and Patrick Tracy each adding one, to help reach the team’s end score of six.

Along with playing hard in games, the boys are also training for success in practice. The new coach approaches the team by running things differently; with lots of routine and order.

“With the new coach we actually have a routine, he has everything planned out”, Senior Cody Blanc said.

The coach also is happy with the team’s start. “I think we’re going to have a strong season. We have a lot of work to do in terms of learning how to play together and playing good soccer, but we have a lot of talented players and talented athletes, and I think the challenge is just going to be to kind of put it all together,” Zieff said.
