A playlist guaranteed to shatter any glass ceiling

Although International Women’s Day was on March 8, who’s to say that we can’t celebrate female empowerment every day? With recent glass shattering winners at the Grammys, women in the music industry have taken their songwriting to the next level this past year. Beyoncé won her 28th Grammy, the most for any female artist. Taylor Swift became the first woman to win Album of the Year three times for her albums “Fearless,” “1989” and, most recently, “folklore.” Megan Thee Stallion was the first female rapper to win Best New Artist since 1999. Unfortunately, we can’t all be Grammy-winning artists, but we can all appreciate masterpieces that women in the music industry have created with some of the best girl power anthems.
