Girls’ varsity tennis overcomes rivalry match with comfortable victory

Girls’ varsity tennis defeated Tam by a score of 8-1 on Tuesday afternoon.

The rivalry match took place at Tam, where the Giants showcased their superior talent with a commanding performance.

Redwood was able to win all singles games, most by large margins. Dominant games came from Redwood’s top players, Lauren Wolfe and Abby Mullins.

The doubles games resulted in two strong wins, as well as Redwood’s only loss of the match.

The win means that they remain undefeated atop MCAL standings, ahead of rivals Branson and Tam.

Redwood continues their season with a home game on Thursday, Oct. 22 against Drake.
