According to coach Ashlee Sand, this was the first time ever that a Redwood girls’ team won a game 25-0.

Emma Jaime served every point in the first game.

“It was nerve-wracking. It definitely got harder as the score got higher,” Jaime said.

Some players, such as co-captain Desiree Hale, said the wished the game was more challenging so that more players could have contributed to the game.

The freshman girls finished the match with a strong 25-14 win in the second game.

“As our last home game, we worked together to play a strong match. It will definitely be sad to end the season,” said Alicia Vargelas, a middle and outside hitter.

The freshman girls will play their last game of the season on Wednesday, Oct. 30, against Terra Linda High School.
