The annual Gap Year Fair, organized by the Go Overseas organization, was hosted at Archie Williams High School on Wednesday, Feb. 28. The fair is held across the country with the goal of assisting teens interested in taking a gap year between high school and college. By coordinating with advisors and international gap year providers, the fair gave students and their families a chance to ask one-on-one questions with program representatives and learn about the various programs that the Go Overseas organization presented. The fair not only focused on providing gap year logistics, but strived to help students navigate the college deferral process as well as program applications. Whether students were seeking language immersion, internships or outdoor adventures across the globe, the fair provided students with abundant options to explore gap year and summer opportunities.
