On Saturday, Dec. 10, the girls’ varsity basketball team faced off against a tough Miramonte team. The Giants gained an early lead; however, Miramonte kept the short lead throughout the first three quarters. However, in the fourth quarter, the Giants went on a big run after a tough and-1 finish from junior Maya Saibel. They finished the game on top of the Matadores with a final score of 40 to 35.
