For high schoolers, the month of December is a mixed bag. It concludes the first semester of a busy school year, filled with new classes, teachers and for this year, a new bell schedule. December means just one more push – it’s the last few weeks to turn in that missing assignment, cram for the last test or scramble to get that 88 to a roundable 89.5. It’s a tiring flurry of madness before a long holiday break. To kick off this one of a kind month, on Dec. 1, students and staff wore their holiday finest – ugly sweaters, that is. During lunch, soup from Boudin was offered, providing a warm reprieve to the harsh coldness that is school this time of year.
