Photo Essay: Homecoming staircase decoration

On Sunday Oct. 15, the Redwood leadership class spent three hours, from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., decorating each of the main-building staircases. Each grade level decorated a different staircase based on their corresponding Homecoming theme: freshmen old Hollywood, sophomores-animation, juniors-horror and seniors-musicals. Stairwell decorating was a competition between the grade levels to see which class could come together and be the most creative while decorating under each theme. On Oct. 20, during the Homecoming rally, the juniors were announced as the winners with the seniors a close second. The sophomores landed third, while freshmen ended up in last place.
