On Wednesday, Oct. 4, girls’ varsity volleyball Secured a conclusive win over Terra Linda High School in a three-set game. The team displayed excellent coordination, especially with outside hitters, senior Jaden Hendrickson and freshman Maddy Wagner playing with great synergy. The Giants had a rocky first set, but came back to win with a score of 25-20. The second set showcased the girls’ impressive serves and spikes, with Hendrickson’s hits leaving the crowd in awe. The Giants ended the second set with a victory of 25-17. Although Terra Linda initially took a 5-1 lead in the third set the girls rallied and took control of the game. Wagner’s powerful hits turned the tide in favor of the Giants, leading them to win the third set 25-18. 

Wagner talked about her new head coach Jake Spain being the key to the team’s displayed success. 

“His attitude really helps the team stay positive, and his words of advice help the team come together as one. He gives very good feedback, which helps us a lot during the games,” Wagner said.
