Photo Essay: Ains Fish continues stealing the show in 80-44 win against Archie Williams

On Jan. 26, the boys’ varsity basketball team dominated the Archie Williams (Archie) Falcons. Although the Falcons put up a good fight, they could not compete with Redwood’s strong defense and impressive shooters. The game started slow, with the first quarter ending with Redwood leading by a score of 24-10. The second quarter was intense and included senior Brady Weingart coming out of the game with a painful ankle injury. Despite the mid-quarter injury, Redwood maintained their determination entering halftime leading 36-22. The Giants entered the third quarter with a newfound burst of energy, and once again demonstrated the team’s talent by ending the quarter up 22 points with 58 compared to Archie’s 36 points. Redwood did not slow down in the fourth quarter, but rather demonstrated what a second place team in Marin County Athletic League plays like, ending the game with a final score and victory of 80-44. Come watch the varsity boys take on Terra Linda tonight at 6 p.m. as they play for another win.
