On Tuesday, May 26, the varsity baseball team beat the No. 16 seed Northgate High School 1-0 in the first round of NCS playoffs. After winning the MCAL championship game last Saturday, the Giants earned the No. 1 seed in NCS.
On Tuesday against Northgate, senior Adam Hussain scored the Giants only run off of junior Zach Cohen’s bunt.
The Giants’ next game is on Friday, May 28 against Arroyo High School at 4 p.m. at home.
