In lieu of a full spirit week as in past years, Leadership, Peer Resource, and Link Crew opted to host Aloha Friday today instead.

The event included games on the South Lawn, food catered by San Rafael’s Mauna Loa Hawaiian BBQ, and leis passed out to students by Leadership class members on their way into school.

“The administration told us that they didn’t want a full spirit week because they thought it would interfere with tests or studying time this week, so they suggested that we’d just do one big day and we chose Aloha Day,” senior Leadership member Griffin Wood-Smith said.

What prompted all three student-run programs on campus to work together for this lunch time event was their coinciding goal of strengthening the Redwood community through bringing the student body together on campus.
