Boys’ junior varsity soccer routs San Marin 6-0

The boys’ junior varsity soccer team defeated San Marin High School with a score of 6-0 on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

The home game win increased Redwood’s record to 2-1 this season.

Redwood’s first goal came soon after the start of the game as freshman Oliver Sagastume dribbled down the field and took a shot from inside the box.

Two more goals were scored by Redwood before the end of the first half.

Directly after the second half began, the fourth goal was scored by sophomore Daniel Hoberman, and the final two goals were scored by freshman Cooper Bouton and freshman Anthony Couto.

The Giants’ next game is this Tuesday, Sept. 23 against San Rafael.
