The boys’ JV lacrosse team defeated Piedmont in Monday’s out of league matchup at Redwood.

Although only closely leading 3-2 at the end of the first quarter, the Giants pulled away for the 10-2 victory.

Redwood’s effort was led by shut down defense and a resilient offensive attack.

Sophomore Dylan Middleton led the team with six goals to go along Michael Cassidy’s two goals, as well goals from Freddie Madison and Nolan Cassidy.  Zane Feldman-Isaksen also contributed with four assists.

The Giants play next on Thursday at home against Novato.
