On Jan. 20, students participated in a walkout in protest of ICE, using chants, personal anecdotes and signs to make noise over Larkspur.
After meeting at the amphitheater at 2 p.m., protesters walked past the Mt. Tam Racquet Club before turning left onto Magnolia Ave., where restaurant-eaters, Hall Middle School parents and passerby’s honked horns and applauded the student-led movement.
Various motivations filled the walk to the Larkspur Public Library, with many students calling on friends and relatives who have seen ICE actions first-hand.
