In recent tradition, freshmen take time in their social studies classes to write a letter addressed to their future selves — a time capsule of their first moments in high school. Four years later, the seniors can travel down memory lane at the Roots Down event, held in the decorated Big Gym. On June 2, the class of 2025 received their letters back. Seniors reflected on how the community and their high school years have shaped them, and some of the ways they have changed since the day they wrote their letters. The event highlighted the impact of the letter-writing tradition and the strong sense of community. Seniors shared their favorite memories throughout high school, as well as reflections on their growth since freshman year.
