Lily Bell is a junior and in her second year writing for The Redwood Bark. She enjoys the close community and kind people who she met along the way. As a transfer student, she immediately felt welcomed when joining The Redwood Bark. Outside of reporting, she plays beach volleyball and spends her time outdoors.

Five minutes before the gunshot went off, signaling the runners to start, the girls did their pregame tradition of chanting in a circle with smiles on their faces. Not only did this intimidate the other teams, but it also boosted Redwood’s energy.
