On Sept. 25th, the varsity boys’ water polo team secured a 15 to 5 victory over Tamalpais (Tam) High School. Freshman Storm Jackson stood out during the game, displaying his remarkable offensive skills by leading the Giants in goals. Jackson highlighted the team’s dedication in practice leading up to the match.
“We have had a lot of focused practices leading up to this big game and in preparation for the [Marin County Athletic League games],” said Jackson.
Additionally, junior goalie Owen Malone played a crucial role in the win, making several key saves that kept Tam at bay. Captain and senior Ossie Joplin contributed offensively and defensively, helping solidify Redwood’s position as first in the Marin County Athletic League this season, tied with Archie Williams. The team is currently playing in a tournament in Southern California, and their next league match is against San Domenico on Monday.
