Photo Essay: Boys’ varsity soccer secures first seed against Tamalpais

On Thursday, Jan. 25, boys’ varsity soccer rematched Tamalpais High School (Tam) in their last home game of the season. Furthering into league play, Redwood holds their number one spot, ending the game in a 1-0 Redwood win.

Senior Ensio Sardans reflected on the day.

“It felt good to come out with the boys on the home turf right after school. Good atmosphere, great fans, great quality of play,” Sardans said. “First quarter, we were just trying to go out there and score a couple of goals, but in the beginning it didn’t work out. We came back in the second half 0-0, and stepped on the gas.”

The Giants face off against Archie Williams on Jan. 31, at 3:15 p.m.
