Photo Essay: Boys’ basketball remains unbeaten in MCAL play after defeating Terra Linda 81-39

On Saturday, Jan. 7, the boys’ basketball team defeated the Terra Linda Trojans by a final score of 81-39. The Giants started the game strong finishing the first quarter leading 22-3. This trend continued for the rest of the game as the Giants shut down any chance Terra Linda had to make a comeback. Junior Jake Vasquez continued his tear of impressive play with 20 points, seven assists, 11 rebounds and two blocks. Captain Brady Weingart finished with 14 points and eight rebounds, followed by Bjorn Ryning with 10 points and Johan Swildens with nine points. The Giants are undefeated in Marin County Athletic League play and look to continue that streak against the Marin Catholic Wildcats on Tuesday, Jan. 10.
