Whether students know about Redwood’s athletics because of their own participation or their opinions about Varsity Lacrosse’s bold hair choice, most are at least somewhat aware of the various sports and athletic practices that occur in the afternoon. However, the numerous night classes offered at Redwood are less well-known. All throughout the week, Redwood’s campus is abuzz with activity after dark in the music room, art building and classrooms throughout campus. According to a recent self-reported Bark survey, 35 percent of students are involved in afterschool activities at Redwood that do not include athletics. Below are just some of the lesser-known classes offered at Redwood after hours, and the unique impact such offerings can have on an educational experiences for students and adults alike in our district.
