Middle hitter Caroline Marlowe contributed to the team’s strong defense with multiple blocks.

In the end, Marin Catholic’s dominant offense proved too much for Redwood to handle. Marin Catholic’s good communication and a series of aces and kills gave them the edge.

The match was played as part of Game Night, when all Redwood girls’ volleyball teams face Marin Catholic. The games were dedicated to breast cancer awareness.

Redwood’s next match is away at Tam this Friday, Oct. 23.
