[SNAPSHOT] Giants fall to Hornets in dramatic 15-inning, two-day MCAL championship

The Marin County Athletic League (MCAL) championship game was never supposed to stretch across two days.

But after four and a half hours Friday night at Albert Park, the stadium lights shut off, sprinklers sprayed the outfield and nearly 2,000 fans watched players walk off tied after 11 innings.

Play resumed Saturday morning at Moody Field, where Redwood fell to Novato 9-8 in a dramatic 15-inning marathon that instantly became one of the most unforgettable championship games in MCAL history.

From momentum swings to clutch hits and constant pressure, the title game tested both teams past their limits.
