On Friday, Jan. 16, the boys’ varsity basketball team finished their game strong to defeat Marin County Athletic League (MCAL) opponent Terra Linda. To remain undefeated in the league, the Giants beat the Trojans 70-51. Despite a tight first half, the Giants pulled ahead with key players stepping up to start the second half. Both senior captain Jake Post and junior Max Monterastelli were leading scorers, each into the double digits, with Monterastelli scoring 21 points and Post scoring 11. The Giants are now 3-0 in MCAL and will play in a rivalry matchup against Branson on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
