Staff and students from the music department performed thorough audio checks and warm-ups to get ready before the show.
On Wednesday, June 3, and Thursday, June 4, Redwood’s Advanced Performance Workshop (APW) performed their Spring Concert, featuring a set list of 20 songs and two hours of total performance. Emcees Ally Woodruff and Brooke Ellington led the audience through the show, sharing some musical puns in between songs. The music began with a performance of “Happy Face” by Treaty Oak Revival and concluded with a surprise performance of “Everlong” by Foo Fighters. The night closed with roaring applause as parents, alumni and supportive students alike celebrated the performers’ accomplishments.
