Senior prank:
On May 19th, seniors from Tamalpais High School and Redwood High School teamed up for a senior prank, swapping campuses during the first period of the day. The prank was carefully organized with a spreadsheet assigning each student a specific Redwood class to attend. Wearing their Tam senior jerseys, the pranksters arrived on time and joined their assigned classes. Redwood staff quickly caught on, and the Tam students were asked to leave. By second period, the students had exited the campus. Though brief, the prank sparked amusement across both schools and was praised by students.

Seniors’ final rally:
On May 28, the celebration for the end of the 2024–2025 school year commenced with the annual spring rally. Led by seniors Julia Laury, Charlotte Lacy and Katelyn Van Dusen, the event featured musical performances, games and class competitions. Students showed off school spirit with all red outfits, while activities like a lyric battle, musical chairs and a varsity team relay filled the gym with cheers. A moment from Peer Resource’s “Shine the Light” exercise offered community connection. The rally concluded with staff awards, senior celebrations and a sing-along to “Good Old Days,” closing the year with unity and excitement for the future.

Senior Six Flags:
On May 29, seniors celebrated one of their final weeks of high school with a trip to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Accompanied by Redwood staff, students boarded buses at 9 a.m. and spent the day riding roller coasters, playing games, and enjoying time with friends. The trip offered a fun and thrilling break from finals and graduation prep, giving seniors a chance to make lasting memories together before the end of their final school year.

Senior skip day:
On May 30, seniors took part in the annual tradition of ‘Senior Skip Day’ by heading to Stinson Beach for a day of sun, celebration and class bonding. With graduation just around the corner, the unofficial outing gave students a chance to relax and spend time together outside of school. Groups gathered on the sand with beach games, snacks and music, soaking in the warm weather and the end-of-year excitement. The day served as a memorable send-off and a chance for seniors to reflect and connect before parting ways in just a few weeks.

Roots Down:
On June 2, seniors and parents gathered in the gym for the heartfelt Roots Down tradition. This event, started in the past few years, is meant to bring together the graduating class one last time and appreciate their remaining time with their parents. After mingling amongst the crowd, seniors’ families were met with speeches from teachers, a performance by Advanced Performance Workshop (APW), reading letters and a “passing of the torch” ceremony.

Senior next steps day:
On June 3, seniors arrived on campus proudly sporting merchandise from their future colleges, jobs and gap year programs. As their final week of high school kicks off, seniors have been capturing moments through photos, social media posts and shared memories—celebrating not only the end of an era, but the exciting new chapters ahead.
