“[I’m looking forward to] having a good college experience, meeting new people and experiencing new things,” Isabela Wick said. “[My advice is] at the beginning [of your senior year], start your college [applications] earlier because you will fall behind and then it'll be a lot more rewarding [when you get it done early].”
On June 3, the graduating seniors participated in Next Steps Spirit Day, where students represented the college they will be attending or the career they will be pursuing by wearing the corresponding merchandise. During lunch, the seniors gathered in the front parking lot with music, taking pictures with and congratulating one another. The event was bittersweet and is just one of the many celebrations organized to honor the senior class during their last two weeks at Redwood. To conclude their four years of high school, a group of seniors was asked, “What are you looking forward to in the next four years?” and “What is your advice for upcoming seniors?” Here are their responses:
