After months of preparation, on Oct. 22, Redwood’s EPiC drama program kicked off their production of Mean Girls the Musical. The two-hour production had a packed crowd on opening night full of parents, students and staff. Directed by EPiC teacher Elena Wright, the musical featured Cat Domet as Regina George, Ally Woodruff-Milner as Cady Heron, Sydnie Brodie as Karen Smith, Mirabelle Glassman as Gretchen Wieners, Ella Buske as Aaron Samuels, Reed Hsiao Wong as Damian Hubbard and Syd Walling-Boothby as Janis Sarkisian. For the entire 31-person cast list, see https://www.epicshows.org/mean-girls-info. The play had two acts, each featuring various songs and dances adapted from the original Mean Girls the Musical. The production will run through Oct. 26, and it is free for all to attend in the little theater at 7 p.m. daily.
