On Friday, Feb. 16, leadership hosted their annual “Red Fest.” This event usually takes place on Valentine’s Day, but due to the district-wide Stop-and-Learn on Wednesday, Feb. 14, it was rescheduled. Red Fest featured many different student-led activities, including a Peer Resource “Safe is Sexy” station, a live performance from the Advanced Performance Workshop (APW) music class, recruitment tables for various clubs and food from local businesses such as Andy’s Market and Burritoville. The event took place during lunch, which was extended to lengthen the time for students to participate in all of these activities.
