Since 2014, Redwood’s farm has been focused on growing sustainably and creating projects for Redwood students. The farm is organically certified by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) and follows the principles of Grow Biointensive, a farming method from the book “How to Grow More Vegetables” by John Jeavons. Students participate by planting crops, growing food and maintaining the space. Sustainable Agriculture has been a class since 2014 and offers college credit to students who complete the course.
