On Tuesday, Jan. 28, girls’ varsity basketball faced off against San Marin with an exciting victory, continuing their undefeated league season. The game started off tight, with the girls barely asserting a lead over San Marin. The tough competition from both sides ended the first half with a 32-32 tie. However, with an offensive performance across the next two quarters, the Giants were able to end the game with a 54-42 win. Multiple three-pointers by senior Maya Saibel and a strong performance from freshman Drew Schultz led the team to victory. The Giants ended San Marin’s 10-game win streak, earning them their seventh consecutive win this season. Their next game will be on Friday, Jan. 30 at home against Tamalpais High School. Show up and show out for your girls’ varsity basketball team!
