Thursday evening, girls’ varsity water polo played a frustrating game against Marin Catholic, losing with a score of 17-2.
Sophomore Jennafer Schoonover, scored Redwood’s only two points during the second and third quarters of the game. Throughout the game, Redwood attempted multiple shots, only to be stopped by Marin Catholic’s talented goalie.
Redwood’s goalie Laurel Doyle, sophomore, saved the team from an even greater loss by stopping fifteen goals from being scored.
“We just had to build up our defense, play a good, hard game and used it to learn and gain experience,” said sophomore Madison Barsi.
On
Tuesday, the team plays San Rafael, and on Thursday they play Terra Linda.
