Malibu Farm brings unique flavors to Tiburon

Founded in Los Angeles in 2013, restaurant Malibu Farm opened a new location in downtown Tiburon this past May. The restaurant boasts a modern interior and kind staff that complement the dining experience. On a clear day, views of Richardson Bay and the San Francisco skyline can be seen from the outdoor patio. Malibu Farm offers a wide variety of unique dishes.

Capers, watermelon and quinoa make Malibu Farm’s greek salad a delicious appetizer.

Greek Salad

Malibu Farm’s greek salad grabs your attention with its stunning plating. The salad is very unique, featuring capers, quinoa and watermelon. The base of the salad is arugula, as opposed to traditional romaine lettuce. Pickled on

ions add a tang and the flavors are well balanced throughout. However, the feta cheese is somewhat dry and the salad is slightly salty. Overall, the greek salad is a good option if you want something light but flavorful.

Tomato Pizza

Drizzled with lime, the tomato pizza is one of the many unique options available.

Malibu Farm offers a variety of unique pizzas—from avocado to butternut squash. The tomato pizza is topped with cherry tomatoes, pea shoots and mozzarella cheese and sprinkled with lime juice. The thin, crispy crust pairs well with the tomato sauce, but the lime flavor is certainly an acquired taste.

Roasted Half Chicken

Topped with arugula and carrot slices, the roasted half chicken is a perfect comfort dish.

The roasted half chicken far outshines the other dishes. Delicious, moist chicken with flavorful crispy skin is served on top of a bed of roasted cauliflower mash and vegetables. The roasted cauliflower mash tastes just like mashed potatoes and is smooth and creamy. A sweet, rich sauce with a hint of salt complements the rest of the meal, making it the perfect comfort dish for a foggy day on the bay.

Malibu Farm’s inviting interior, friendly staff and unique dishes make it an ideal restaurant to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Its bay-side location provides stunning views that are the highlight of the experience. If you are looking to grab a quick coffee or pastry, the Malibu Farm cafe is also located right next door.
