As seniors reach the end of their high school years, many are looking toward their future while still trying to reminisce on the past. Those memories throughout high school may look weird to some, as we have all become a different version of ourselves since we first stepped into the Redwood halls. Lots of different things have affected those changes, from sports, to classes to teachers. To learn more about what seniors felt affected them the most, I asked them “What two things (people, experiences, classes, etc.) shaped you the most in high school?”
“I think one of the events that has shaped me the most in high school is — it’s very cliché — doing online school and the transition from online school. Coming back to high school after COVID and just seeing all the spirit, especially the rally we had junior year, was a really formative moment for me. I became super proud to be a Redwood student and that’s when I wanted to become more involved in leadership,” Julia Ginsburg said. “I also think another major event for me in high school was all of the music performances I did because it really helped me determine that music is a passion I want to continue pursuing and that I really enjoyed sharing my artistic endeavors with other people.”
