On Saturday, Jan. 21 the boys’ varsity soccer team played against San Rafael High School in an important rematch. Redwood had just won 3-2 the week prior and was prepared to sweep the season series. At the start of the match, the Bulldogs and the Giants were neck in neck, however after a goal from junior and center-mid Evan White, Redwood took the lead. The Giants only needed that one goal, as their defense shut out San Rafael to finish the match with a 1-0 victory. Redwood will look to push this momentum into their next game as they face Archie Williams on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
