JV boys’ waterpolo starts season with win

The JV boys’ water polo team played their first scrimmage of the season against Northgate High School this Tuesday.

Redwood beat Northgate by 9 points. The scoreboard read 14-5, favoring Redwood. The team’s next game has yet to be scheduled.

Five minutes before the gunshot went off, signaling the runners to start, the girls did their pregame tradition of chanting in a circle with smiles on their faces. Not only did this intimidate the other teams, but it also boosted Redwood’s energy.
