The girls’ varsity tennis team nearly swept the scorecard on Tuesday against Marin Catholic, commanding the court in all but two matches.
Junior Molly Kehoe, who dominated in her match against MC’s Kelly Buchanon, was happy with her performance, which helped the team solidify its lead in the standings over rival Branson.
“We’ve already secured our position as number one going into the playoffs, so this match added to our winning record, but didn’t move us up any higher,” Kehoe said.
Kehoe said the team is more focused on gearing up for MCAL playoffs next week, where they will face either Tam or Branson.
The team’s next match is Thursday, Oct. 20 against Terra Linda, where it will be celebrating senior night.
